On the street Los Martires de Tacubaya (The Martyrs of Tacubaya)

This north south street begins just below Constitucion at the corner of La Republica. North of there it continues one block but is blocked by an area of greenery and is a cul de sac. For about one half block the east side of the street has a number of small murals and on the opposite, west side, there is the large black and white mural. That mural is somewhat typical of the graphic art work, prints, that you see everywhere here. This building was once the studio of the art group Bambu. I don’t know if it still is located there. I have not seen any signs of life in several years. You will notice at the far end of that mural an art work stenciled on a piece of thin paper and glued within a window frame. That is a pretty standard outdoor art work here as well.
